Office for Organizational Well-Being
About our research
Research within the Office for Organizational Well-Being (OWB) serves as a foundation for organizational learning and continuous improvement. We use qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, program evaluation, and scholarly inquiry to better understand the experiences of faculty, staff, learners, and leaders across the College of Medicine.
Our goal extends beyond collecting data. We work to translate organizational experiences into meaningful insights that help inform leadership decisions, strengthen workplace culture, evaluate organizational well-being initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement. By integrating evidence from our own institution with emerging research from academic medicine and organizational well-being, we help ensure that our work remains responsive, evidence-informed, and grounded in the realities of everyday work.
Through research, evaluation, and dissemination, we contribute not only to improving our own institution, but also to advancing the growing field of organizational well-being in academic medicine.
