The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, recently designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute, is leading the way in bringing the latest cancer treatments to patients through clinical trials.
In this “UK at the Half,” learn about UK Markey Cancer Center’s clinical trials from Eddy Yang, MD, PhD, chair of the UK College of Medicine’s Department of Radiation Medicine, and Zhonglin Hao, MD, PhD, medical director of Markey’s Clinical Research Office. The physician-scientists discuss how clinical trials are advancing cancer care through precision medicine and providing patients in Kentucky with access to the most advanced treatments available.
As Kentucky’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, Markey offers patients access to more clinical trials than any other cancer center in the state.
