Clinical Trials for Radiation Oncology

Our department works closely with the UK Markey Cancer Center to treat each patient as an individual. Our patients have a team of clinicians and researchers looking at their individual cases, applying the most recent cancer knowledge to achieve the optimal outcome. Clinical trials can be a path to discovering the latest treatments that may be beneficial for their care.

Several clinical trials and research studies are open at any one time at Markey Cancer Center. As an NCI-designated cancer center, Markey has more open clinical trials than any other cancer center in the region, giving access to some of the most advanced options available.

Patients can use the Clinical Trials Database to search radiation oncology-related trials as well as cancer type, doctor, treatment, phase, and more.
