The UK College of Medicine Department of Physiology Graduate Program prepares students to become innovative scientists, educators, and leaders in biomedical research.
Students typically join the Physiology Graduate Program after completing 1 or 2 years of graduate education in other programs in the College of Medicine (e.g., IBS Program, M.D./Ph.D. Program)
After admission, students engage in rigorous coursework, mentored research, and diverse presentation opportunities. These experiences—within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment—equip our graduates to tackle complex scientific challenges and advance human health.
