Biography and Education
Biography
Dr. Gupta is a double board certified facial plastic surgeon focusing on reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face, head, and neck. She is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Kentucky and the Associate Residency Program Director. She grew up in Louisville, Ky and then attended Johns Hopkins University for undergraduate work where she began her interest in Biomedical Engineering. She attended Vanderbilt University for medical school and completed residency training at Mount Sinai. She pursued fellowship training with Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel at Boston University. Her current practice includes rhinoplasty, Mohs reconstruction, trauma, facial nerve reanimation, and gender affirming facial feminization surgery. Her research interests include biomaterials for clinical use and computational fluid dynamics for measuring nasal obstruction.
