Welcome to the UK College of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Our department features highly-skilled faculty members with specialized training in all aspects of our field. Our residency training program produces highly-trained, board-certified otolaryngologists equipped to comprehensively assess and treat both adults and children diagnosed with common and rare diseases affecting the head and neck. We take pride in providing outstanding patient care within an atmosphere that fosters both resident education and research activities. Patient Care
Patients who have never been treated at the University of Kentucky should arrive 20-30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. Patients are asked to provide insurance coverage information along with a list of current medications.
Research
The University of Kentucky Department of Otolaryngology believes that research is a critical aspect of patient outcomes and advances in patient care, as well as medical education. UK Otolaryngology has NIH and RO1 funding, and is a leader in hearing care disparities research.
