21st Annual Cardiovascular Research Day - A Look Ahead at the Day

The 21st Annual Gill Heart Cardiovascular Research Day is this Friday, September 21! 

Overview of the Day:
The event will be held at the Lexington Convention Center, Bluegrass Ballrooms.  Participant Check-In starts the day at 9:30 am.  The first Scientific Session begins at 10:00 in Bluegrass Ballroom I.  Events throughout the day include the popular Research Blitz, trainee presentations, judged poster sessions, Distinguished Alumni and Faculty presentations along with Featured Speakers and networking opportunities.  For a detailed schedule of the day, click here.

Bring Your Device:
In promoting environmental sustainability, this year’s Cardiovascular Research Day will be paperless. Be sure to bring your laptop or mobile device! Research Blitz voting and poster judging will occur on line.  The Schedule of the Day and the Abstract Book will be available for download.  Complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided for all attendees.

Professional Photos Updated:
A professional photographer will be onsite throughout the day.  During the poster session, he will be available to update your professional headshot.  Free of charge to you and no sign up required!

Networking Opportunities:
Again this year, we offer all trainees the opportunity to expand their professional network through the Networking Game.  Trainees can pick up a “game board” at Participant Check In.  Once the game board is complete, trainees can turn it in to be entered for a chance to win one of four $500 travel awards.

Parking:
Parking – You may park for free in the Manchester Street parking lot. We can not cover parking fees from other parking areas.
