A strong contingent of researchers represented seven Saha Cardiovascular Research Center laboratories at this year's Gordon Research Conference in New Hampshire in June. Their work was showcased through poster and oral presentations while they contributed to the collaborative and engaging scientific environment for which the conference is known.

All 13 attendees presented research posters during the meeting, highlighting the breadth and quality of ongoing work across participating laboratories.

We applaud the effort and achievement of the following attendees:

  • Garrett Anspach, Sehyung Park; Robert N. Helsley Lab
  • Xu Xiao, PhD; Xu Xiao Lab
  • Ryan Temel; Ryan Temel Lab
  • Ryan Barney, Olivia Hage, Khaga Raj Neupane, Clairity Voy, Scott Gordon, PhD; Scott Gordon Lab
  • Diego Lucero, PhD; Diego Lucero Lab
  •  Greg Graf, PhD, Meredith Campbell; Greg Graf Lab
  • Shayan Mohammadmoradi; Sidney "Wally" Whiteheart Lab

In addition to poster presentations, Clairity Voy and Olivia Hage (Gordon Lab) were selected to give oral presentations, and Hage presented an oral abstract.

In recognition of her outstanding presentation, Voy was given a poster award.

Beyond the scientific program, the Gordon Conference is well known for its unique setting, unconventional accommodations, and opportunities for informal networking and recreation. Taking advantage of the conference's mountain location, several members of the group participated in a mountain biking excursion between conference sessions, providing a memorable opportunity to connect outside of the laboratory and enjoy the surrounding landscape.

The conference provided an excellent venue for sharing research, fostering collaborations, and celebrating the accomplishments of our investigators and trainees. Their collective participation reflects the continued strength and impact of our research community.
