The University of Kentucky College of Medicine Professionalism and Civility Panel (ProCP) was established to uphold and promote the mission and values of the college and the highest standards of professional conduct for faculty. The ProCP is dedicated to fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and collaboration through exemplary professional behavior and actions. Operating with a commitment to neutrality, the ProCP provides a structured framework to ensure that any reported concerns related to conduct are addressed in a fair, timely, and supportive manner. Concerns may be submitted by any member of the UK College of Medicine community, including faculty, staff, trainees, and learners. Discussions with the ProCP are intended to be constructive, aimed at understanding the context of each situation and collaboratively exploring effective solutions.
