Welcome the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development

We are here for you. Our goal is to recruit and retain exceptional faculty to the UK College of Medicine while establishing and promoting opportunities that will ensure continued personal and professional growth.

We are advocates for you, the more than 1,300 full-time and part-time faculty who contribute to the college in all areas: clinical care, medical and biomedical education, research and scholarship, administration, and development. Our office helps faculty in all areas and facets of your professional career, including compensation, distribution of effort, professional development, leadership training, appointments to committee membership and leadership, academic promotion and/or tenure, conflict resolution, faculty overloads and consulting, and other needs.
