Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
When applying to residency programs, I searched for a place that would allow me to build a strong resume for fellowship training, but would also leave me feeling confident in my operative abilities after 5 years should I choose general practice. Dr. Comer and the staff at UK assured me that this was available in Lexington and provided the evidence (case logs, fellowship match data, alumni testimonials, etc.) to support their claims.
What are your hobbies?
Outside of the hospital, I enjoy activity and competition of any kind (volleyball, spikeball, basketball, etc.), watching Wisconsin sports teams, and spending time with my wife and 2-year-old daughter.
Biography
I went to the Medical College of Wisconsin where I came across Otolaryngology as a third-year student and fell in love with the anatomy as well as the people that the specialty seems to attract.
