This summer, all IBS students participated in an internship!
Here's where they served:
Industry - Eight students worked with Kindeva Drug Delivery, ParaTechs, and TruDiagnostics
Communication: One student worked with the UK College of Medicine Office of Strategic Communications
Faculty: 4 students supported faculty and staff
Science Outreach: One student supported the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience in Environmental Health Sciences (SURES) Program.
Clinical Research: Two students interned at the UK Core Facilities and another student interned at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
Science Policy: One student interned with the Kentucky Academy of Science
Higher Education Administration: One student is interned with the College of Medicine Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
