            About Us

Behavioral science faculty and students provide transdisciplinary expertise in behavioral processes impacting health and support University and college strategic initiatives through education, research, and service.

            Education

We provide forward-thinking training to pre-medical, medical, and graduate students using multidisciplinary approaches.

            Research

Our faculty and students are making significance advances in understanding and applying behavioral processes in health, particularly in the areas of substance use disorders, clinical neuroscience and cancer, and serve as investigators on multiple federal- and state-funded research grants, including the NIH Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL) grant, which is the largest grant ever awarded to the University of Kentucky.
