ABC

The ABC lab is part of the department of behavioral science at the UK College of Medicine. Yang Jiang, PhD, professor, is the principal investigator of the ABC lab. The lab's research focuses on understanding the neural mechanisms underlying perception, cognition, and affect in healthy and clinical populations (e.g. patients with mild cognitive impairment or traumatic brain injury). The laboratory is using approaches of behavior and cognitive neuroscience, such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), event-related potentials (ERPs), and magnetoencephalography (MEG).

The ABC team collaborates closely with colleagues at the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, and the MRI Center (MRISC). Check out the Publications and Research pages to learn more about past studies, visit the People page to get to know the ABC lab staff members, or look at the volunteer page to discover how to be a part of the exciting work going on here at the ABC lab.
