The Board of Directors of South East Lipid Research Conference is excited to announce the 2016 South East Lipid Research Conference (SELRC). This year we have a new venue and a great program of lectures, training, and social events. The 2016 SELRC will be held November 3-5 in Lexington, Kentucky. This year’s conference will be hosted by the University of Kentucky and held in conjunction with the 19th Annual University of Kentucky Cardiovascular Research Day.

The scientific program, registration, and housing information is available at SELRC.org. Registration for the 2016 SELRC will automatically register you for the University of Kentucky Cardiovascular Research Day. Both events will be held in downtown Lexington at venues that are within walking distance of one another.

In addition to excellent sessions on lipid metabolism, the combined programs feature Gill Award Lectures by Helen Hobbs (UT Southwestern) and Barry Coller (Rockefeller University) along with Keynote Addresses by Ed Fisher (NYU) and Mark Creager (President of the American Heart Association). In keeping with the spirit of prior SELRCs, the program offers excellent opportunities for trainee presentations, career development, and networking.

We ask that you forward this information to investigators, staff, and trainees that you think may be interested in attending the 2016 SERLC.

We hope that your schedule will accommodate a trip to Lexington for you and your lab.
