Save the Date: 2019 UK Cardiovascular Research Retreat
Please Save the Date for the 2019 UK Cardiovascular Research Retreat, Friday, May 10th from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Boone Center. Lunch will be provided from 12:00-1:00 pm.
In accord with CR1 passed by the UK Board of Trustees, the University has created Research Priority areas, as described in the attached document. One of these areas is cardiovascular, which has also been designated as a health disparity area. The concept of these research priority areas is to promote research across the campus. A discussion of the development of the cardiovascular priority area will be held at noon to 5 pm on Friday, May 10 in the Boone Center. In the coming weeks you will be receiving a survey that will facilitate the development of the agenda for this meeting.
As key stakeholders in this area, we encourage you to invite anyone to this meeting that has an any interest in that covers the spectrum of cardiovascular research across basic, clinical, and population sciences.
