CHET proudly congratulates UK ASCEND scholar Dr. Radmila Choate on her selection as a 2025 Multiple Chronic Conditions (MCC) Scholar through the AGING Initiative. This national program supports early-career researchers focused on improving the lives of individuals with multiple chronic conditions.

Dr. Choate attended the in-person MCC Scholars Workshop held April 23–25, 2025, in the Washington, D.C. area, preceding the Annual Meeting of the OAICs (Older Americans Independence Centers). There, she connected with fellow scholars, national leaders, and community partners to deepen her expertise and collaborative reach.

Over the next year, Dr. Choate will engage in a webinar-based curriculum that includes MCC research, patient and caregiver engagement, and career and leadership development. She will also participate in a structured mentoring program, pairing with senior researchers and members of the IP4 (Insights and Perspectives for Patients and carePartners) Panel.

Dr. Choate’s selection reflects her growing impact and promise as a leader in aging and health research.
