SEC Well-Being in Academic Medicine

Because the cultures of academic medicine are unique and because this is an emerging area of focus for most colleges of medicine, we want to increase thought-partnership with those working to advance cultures of well-being. To that end, our office began the SEC Well-Being in Medicine Coalition.

The intention is to gather individuals working within colleges of medicine across the SEC who have a focus on wellness, well-being, and engagement-related initiatives and provide a space for to come together, learn from and lean in with each other, align common goals, find opportunities for collaborative action, and support one another.

This collaborative is co-facilitated by:

Lisa Williams, University of Kentucky
Rob O'Carpenter, Texas A & M University
