Funding Opportunities (PDO Pivot Table)
The CURE-KY team, in collaboration with the Proposal Development Office (PDO), has developed a curated and searchable pivot table of funding opportunities relevant to infectious disease researchers, clinicians, students, and trainees. This tool is designed to highlight grant programs, prizes, fellowships, and other awards, provide updated listings that reflect current deadlines and offerings and link to the PDO site for additional funding opportunities.

Pilot Funding and Travel Awards
The CURE-KY Pilot Funding and Travel Awards program offers rolling, budget-flexible support in three categories.
Pilot Projects for Faculty – Small grants help faculty launch an infectious-disease project or start a new collaboration. Applications should focus on collecting preliminary or feasibility data for future extramural proposals.
Pilot Projects for Postdoctoral Fellows – Designed to generate the data postdocs need for competitive K-level or similar career-development awards.
Travel Awards for Trainees – Provides conference or workshop travel support to graduate students and postdocs conducting infectious-disease research.
