September 02, 2025, 11:00 a.m. - Noon Departmental Seminar - Dr. Ni Su Willard Medical Education Building Room MN463

Event Details

Dr. Ni Su is an Assistant Professor in the department of biomedical engineering at the University of Kentucky, where she began her appointment in August 2024. Her lab focuses on engineering biomaterials to modulate immune responses for enhanced tissue regeneration and disease modeling. Her lab develops biomimetic tissue scaffolds that actively modulate the immune system, leading to improved healing outcomes for skin and bone injuries. Building on physiologically relevant biomaterial platforms, her team also constructs complex in vitro disease models to enable mechanistic studies and high-throughput drug screening. By integrating immunology, materials science, and stem cell biology, Dr. Su’s group aims to advance the next generation of biomaterial-based immunotherapies for regenerative medicine and translational applications.
