Juanita Ferreira graduated from China Medical University in 2012 with her MBBS and in 2016 with her M.Med from China Medical University. Juanita’s hobbies include travelling, learning about new cultures, spending time in the library with her son, cooking, and writing poetry. Juanita also speaks Chinese and French Creole.

Donna Hill graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2003 with her B.S. in Biology and Spanish and her M.S. in Biology/Neuroscience from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. She completed her medical training at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020. Donna’s hobbies included photography, writing, and acting. Donna is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Emmy Mbagwu graduated from Semmelweis University in 2014 with his MMS. Emmy has been in our department since June 2019 when he started as an observer with Dr. Shadi Qasem. Emmy’s hobbies include playing the drums and guitar, surfing, snowboarding, rugby, football, and science fiction novels. In addition to English, Emmy has a basic understanding of the Hungarian and Spanish languages.

Leonard Yenwongfai graduated from the University of Buea in 2007 with his BS in Biochemistry and his M.S. in Biology from East Tennessee State University in 2011. He joined the University of Kentucky family and completed his M.S. in Toxicology in 2015 and hsi medical degree in 2020. Leonard’s hobbies include working out, spending time with his wife and daughters, attending bible study meetings, watching Barclay’s premier league games, and playing FIFA soccer.  Leonard also speaks French.
