Mission Statement

The mission of the UK College of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is to provide an environment for our trainees to achieve their goals of professional excellence in orthopedic surgery.

We accomplish this in these ways:

• A high volume, surgical experience across all subspecialties

• Year-round education curriculum

• Research opportunities throughout the training program

• Attending – resident mentorship program
