Opened in 1962, the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, a 569-bed acute care hospital, is part of the UK HealthCare patient care enterprise.

The Kentucky Neuroscience Institute (KNI) integrates the expertise of UK's neurology and neurosurgery physicians and researchers. KNI is a regional referral center dedicated to providing comprehensive care to our patients.

UK Good Samaritan Hospital is an acute-care facility with 180 licensed beds. Founded in 1888, the hospital has a long tradition of providing exceptional patient care in a community-hospital atmosphere. Its acquisition in July 2007 by UK HealthCare added the resources of a major health care system.

The VA Lexington Healthcare System is one of the leading health care systems serving Veterans in the VA MidSouth Health Care Network. We’re an innovative care center within the Veterans Integrated Service Network 9 (VISN 9), which includes medical centers and clinics in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Indiana, Mississippi, and Virginia.
