Biography and Education
Education
I graduated from Lipscomb University in 2016 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. I am a third-year PhD student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics interested in studying genetic risk factors of cognitive decline and aging. My current projects include a multi-trait genome-wide association study of neuropathology-based endophenotypes and a whole-genome sequencing study of brain MRI phenotypes. I chose UK because of proximity to family, access to a plethora of neuropathology data through the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, and the flexibility the MD/PhD program gave in choosing PhD programs. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to email me!
