Trainees of the Month

Each month, the department of psychiatry recognizes a resident or fellow who has demonstrated excellence in patient care, academics, or community involvement. This recognition highlights the individual’s dedication to advancing psychiatry through compassionate care, research, and community outreach, setting a high standard for their peers.

Morgan Elmore, MD

Morgan Elmore, MD is a PGY-2 in the Triple Board Residency Program. This individual demonstrated outstanding leadership and initiative during a demanding week on the psychiatry service. During a time when staffing was limited, they stepped up to guide the team while managing their own patient load. They took on additional responsibilities, independently evaluating patients, reviewing charts, and supporting rounds to ensure continuity of care. Their dedication, adaptability, and commitment to both patient outcomes and team support were exemplary.
