  • Emergency Psychiatry (2 months)
  • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient and Consult- Liaison (1 month)

PGY-2

Acute Psychiatric Care
PGY-2 residents are allotted 15 days of vacation

  • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient and Consult- Liaison (1 month)
  • Child Neurology (1 month)
  • Emergency Psychiatry (1 month)
  • Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Service (4 months)
  • General Inpatient Psychiatry (1 month)
  • Community Inpatient Psychiatry (1 month)
  • Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry (1 month)
  • Elective/Forensic experience (1 month)
  • General Inpatient Psychiatry (Supervisor) (1 month)

PGY-3

Outpatient Psychiatry
PGY-3 residents are allotted 15 days of vacation

  • Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (1/2 day per week for 1 year)
  • Student Mental Health Clinic (1/2-1 day per week for 1 year)
  • UK Outpatient Adult Psychiatry (1 day per week for 1 year)
  • Outpatient Addiction Psychiatry Clinic (1/2 day per week for 6 months)
  • VA Outpatient Adult Psychiatry (1 day per week for 1 year)
  • Outpatient Elective (Addiction, Telepsychiatry, Perinatal Psychiatry, Community Mental Health and others) (1/2 day per week for 6 months to 1 year)

PGY-4

CAP Fellowship (First Year)
PGY-4 Fellows receive 15 days of vacation

  • Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (4 months)
  • Child and Adolescent Consultation Liaison Psychiatry (2 months)
  • Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (6 months)
    • Clinic options include:
      • Outpatient General Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
      • School Consultations
      • Developmental Disorders Clinic
      • Telepsychiatry Community Consultation
      • Juvenile Justice Facilities
      • Community Mental Health
      • Sunrise Residential Experience
      • Center on Trauma and Children Elective

PGY-5

CAP Fellowship (Second Year)
PGY-5 fellows receive 15 days of vacation

  • General Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (1-2 days per week)
  • Juvenile Justice Facilities (1/2 day per week)
  • Sunrise Residential Experience (1 day per week for 6 months to 1 year)
  • Electives including:
    • School Consultations
    • Developmental Disorders Clinic 
    • Telepsychiatry Community Consultation
    • Community Mental Health
    • Center on Trauma and Children Elective
    • Consult- Liaison Junior Attending
