How to Apply to the Addiction Medicine Fellowship

 

The fellowship is currently recruiting for one position for the 2025-2026 academic year. Interested candidates should email a CV and personal statement to tiffany.duncan@uky.edu.  

 

Full applications will include the following in addition to the CV and personal statement:  

  • Medical school transcript and MSPE 

  • 3 reference letters from faculty members you have worked with in your current residency program (one letter must be from your program director).  

  • USMLE or COMLEX scores 

  • Medical school diploma 

  • Recent Photo 

  • ECFMG (if applicable) 

  • J-1 Visa (if applicable) 

  • Training documentation form (to be filled out by current residency training director) 

     

Candidates who used the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) should provide the ERAS application.  

We will conduct interviews on a rolling basis until the position is filled.  

 

Eligibility  

Eligible candidates should have completed an ACGME–accredited, RCPSC-accredited, or AOA approved residency program prior to the start date of the fellowship. While fellows generally have a psychiatry, internal medicine, or family medicine background, we welcome physician career changers and applicants from other specialties.  

Fellows are required to be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky.
