AIM Alliance Letter of Award

Dr. Cody Bumgardner, Director of the Pathology Informatics Division is a Co-Director of the newly funded Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) Alliance Team. This alliance is a collaboration between Pathology, Radiology, and the Institute for Biomedical Informatics. The Alliance will foster growth of infrastructure and specific projects to support the application of Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic Medicine and Clinical Decision Making. Additional members of the Alliance include Dr. Qasem, image analysis, and Dr. Yu, Mass Spectrogram analysis and other applications to Clinical Laboratory data. This Alliance brings together several disparate AI projects with the goal of developing a common and consistent supporting infrastructure. Opportunities for additional faculty to engage AI projects will be forthcoming. Congratulations to Cody!
