The University of Kentucky has recognized Dr. Daniel Moore (lead chairman), Dr. Jennifer Havens, and Dr. Roger Humphries for their work as one of the eighteen outstanding Alliance Initiative Teams here in UK’s College of Medicine. Their HCV Alliance team has focused on developing ED protocols to treat chronic HCV patients regarding diagnosis, linkage and treatment for HCV. Their work on this project will increase awareness on a national level, innovate new ED based protocols that will assist in achieving WHO’s HCV eradication goals, and help develop faculty and teamwork’s involvement in research. Congratulations to Dr. Moore, Dr. Havens, and Dr. Humphries!
