- Girl Scouts of America
- Student National Medical Association
- University of Kentucky College of Medicine First Generation in Medicine Student Interest Group

Meetings
In addition to these programs, our faculty and residents hold Women in Emergency Medicine meetings every other month where we discuss common issues encountered by women in medicine, including:
- Feedback and resident evaluation
- Fertility and pregnancy
- Contract negotiation and self-advocacy
- Intimate partner violence
- Underrepresentation in medicine
As part of these meetings, our residency leadership team created a departmental policy on resident scheduling during pregnancy beginning June 2024. The goal is to minimize overnight shifts for residents during the first and third trimester of pregnancy.
