Learning something about leadership is an important step towards establishing a career. This book is about how the captain of a nuclear submarine took his crew from being one of the worst performing in the US submarine fleet to one of the best. He did this by empowering those in his command. That's important lesson. You don't want to be a passive drone. You shouldn't let those you oversee be passive drones either.
