The UK College of Medicine strives to foster a spectrum of research opportunities for a diverse pool of high school students, undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty. There are many grass-roots, faculty driven stairway programs taking place in the College of Medicine, as well as grant funded efforts that support the stairway to workforce diversity. Our commitment to supporting and growing these activities allows us to engage our community and offer access to opportunities to explore STEM fields and advance research careers. The hope is that these efforts will lead to the recruitment of future outstanding students, trainees, and faculty into our College of Medicine family.
