Diabetes and obesity research
Our research goal is to determine how the brain, kidneys, and pancreatic β-cells sense glucose levels to regulate whole-body glucose and energy homeostasis. The knowledge gained from our research projects will help identify new mechanisms and therapeutic targets to treat metabolic disorders such as diabetes and obesity.
