About the Research Professionals (RP) Mentorship Program

The goal of the RP Mentorship Program is to cultivate a vibrant community of research professionals by providing a mentorship program that nurtures growth, innovation, and ethical research practices. Through personalized guidance, knowledge exchange, and support, we aim to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of research professionals.

  • Jan 5-25: Application Period
  • Jan 26-28: Application Review and Mentor/Mentee Matching
  • Jan 29: Email Notification of Mentorship Pairings
  • Feb 2026: Set Meeting Schedule: Mentees Responsibility
  • Feb 2026: Meeting 1: Getting to Know You*
  • Mar 2026: Meeting 2: Goals and Goal Setting*
  • Apr 2026: Meeting 3: Resources*
  • May 2026: Meeting 4: Leadership*
  • Jun-Jul 2026: No meetings
  • Aug 2026: Meeting 5: Upcoming Challenges*
  • Sep 2026: Meeting 6: Mentor-Mentee Selected Topic*
  • Oct 2026: Meeting 7: Evaluate Your Experience*
  • Nov-Dec 2026: No meetings

* Mentees may bring additional and/or alternative meeting topics to tailor the mentorship to their role and/or goals
