About

The UK College of Medicine Office of Research established the Research Professionals Network (RPN) to offer professional development opportunities and facilitate meaningful discussions on research-specific topics. The network supports a diverse group of research professionals across clinical, basic science, and translational research within the UK College of Medicine (COM), Markey Cancer Center (MCC), and Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS).

With over 140 members, the RPN has developed two specialized tracks to better serve our community: the Clinical Research Track and the Basic Science Research Track. The Clinical Research Track, which meets on the second Monday of each month, has grown into a dynamic and collaborative community. As a newly established track, the Basic Science Research Track is poised for exciting growth and we look forward to seeing the impact it will have.

The RPN is organized and supported by the college’s Office of Research."
