Investigator Specific Resources
The Project GATeWAY team has developed and vetted a Principal Investigator Transition Document, QRG, Guide for Responsibilities, and a Project Checklist with relevant UK parties that will support the transition to working with the new CGS.
Investigator Quick Reference Guide (QRG)
- The intent of this guide is to give a high-level overview of the services provided to the Investigators and the additional resources they have access to assist with the roles and responsibilities of the Investigator.
Sponsored Project Lifecycle Guidance for Responsibilities
- Outlines high level overview of Investigator and CGS Staff responsibilities and handoffs within the award lifecycle
Investigator Project Checklist
- Provides step by step checklist on tasks required of the Investigator throughout the sponsored project lifecycle
Investigator Transition Document
- This document is meant as a reference guide during the CGS transition. It is not meant to be linked with any of the above documents. It is a high-level confirmation of the key changes an investigator will see during the transition, and the expectation of them or the CGS.
UPDATE
The College of Medicine Proposal Submission Deadline Policy has been updated, effective January 1, 2023.
Proposal Initiation Form
The College of Medicine will use a new and improved version of the Proposal Initiation Form starting on Monday, January 29, 2024. The new form will be available to COM investigators as part of our College’s integration into the Healthcare-related Hub 2 of the new campus-wide Collaborative Grant Services (CGS) office. Click here to access the new form.
You will log-in with your linkblue ID. The form can be completed by the investigator or a member of their team or unit. In the “Contacts” section of the form, COM investigators are asked to add the email addresses of their Department Chair/Center Director and Department Administrator. This will ensure that they will be copied on the new form’s automated confirmation email. This is an easy way to alert them (or anyone else, such as a co-I) to your upcoming proposal.
