UK EHS Providing Laboratory Safety Training for All High School Students Conducting Research

Environmental Health and Safety division is providing laboratory safety training for all high school students that will be coming to campus to do research. The training will take place on Tuesday, June 17th, from 1 to 4 in 323 of the CRMS (Robotics Building – Building # 108 on the campus map).
Covered Topics will be:
Laboratory Safety Training/Chemical Hygiene Plan
Hazardous Waste Management
Fire Extinguisher Training
Biohazard Safety Training
If a High School student will be working in the laboratory, please make sure that they have gotten approval from Environmental Health and Safety, by filling out the High School Students in UK Laboratories form - http://ehs.uky.edu/ohs/minors_0001.php
