All active investigators will receive a reminder to update their Financial Disclosure Forms during the month of March. EAG is sending the email in batches. The first was sent on February 18 and they are currently through the S’s. As with last year, a new annual disclosure will be recognized as occurring on and after the date of the first email, February 18. When a CGO receives an IAF and checks for a Disclosure, use these parameters: • If the proposal due date is before April 1, check for the existence of a Disclosure. • If the proposal due date is April 1 or after, be sure the date of the most recent Disclosure is February 18, 2014 or later. If the individual has not done a disclosure since February 18, hold the IAF until it is done. RAs and new account setups: • If you establish an account on April 1 or after, OR if you establish an account in March that has an April 1 or later start date, check to be sure a Disclosure has been done on February 18 or later. Hold the account until Disclosures are up to date. Toward the end of March OSPA will follow up with investigators who have not disclosed. Kelley Davis (kelley.king@uky.edu) will let you know when you no longer need to check for up to date Disclosures at account setup and can rely on her “watch” list. Please contact Debbie Davis (ddavis@uky.edu) with any questions.
