Announcing the 7thAnnual Postdoctoral Poster Session sponsored by the UK COM Postdoctoral Advisory Committee and the Office of the Dean, Dr. Frederick C. de Beer.
This annual event is an opportunity for Postdoctoral Scholars, Fellows and other scientists in Postdoctoral Status (non-faculty or graduate student) to present their work and network with fellow postdocs, faculty and students. As in previous years this is a juried event where each presenter will receive an evaluation judged both on the scientific content as well as the presentation. Prizes in the form of travel awards will be given in 2 categories based on time in postdoctoral status (0-3 years OR >3 years). There will be two First Place Awards of $1000 each as well as well as one Second Place ($600) and one Third Place ($400) award presented.
All presenters and faculty judges will be invited to a special luncheon prior to the presentation and evaluation of the posters. The deadline for registration and submission of abstracts is March 7, 2014.
