Dean's CORE Society Scholarship
The Dean's Core Society is the UK College of Medicine's leadership annual giving society comprised of individuals who contribute $5,000 or more to the Dean's CORE Scholarship Fund. Members of the Dean's CORE Society provide vital funding to help alleviate the debt our medical students face.
How You Can Make A Difference
The Dean's CORE Society Scholarship is awarded to UK College of Medicine students based on three categories: need, merit, and enhancement. This fund was established to provide scholarship support to medical students who demonstrate:
- Compassion
- Operational readiness
- Resilience
- Excellence in their pursuit of medical education
The Dean's CORE Society is dedicated to providing current use scholarship dollars for our medical students so they can pursue their passion of caring for the patients of our communities without the added burden of a higher debt load upon graduation.
Benefits of Joining the CORE Society
Along with the reward of contributing and making an impact on medical student education in our community, the Dean's CORE Society members will receive:
- Two annual, electronic communication pieces from Dean Robert S. DiPaola
- An invitation for a personalized College of Medicine tour
- An invitation from the dean to two annual events (one in the Spring and one in the Fall)
