Faculty, staff, and learners on all campuses can access mental health resources online or by phone. Use Talkspace or contact the UK Counseling Center for support, or access one of the campus-specific resources below.

  • Counseling Services
    • The University of Kentucky offers free, 24/7 telehealth counseling services to all students. Call 859-257-8701 to schedule an appointment or speak with a clinician.
  • Talkspace
    • Access mental health clinicians through Talkspace, a secure online text and video chat platform. Free for all UK students, including unlimited messaging and two sessions per month.
  • Headspace
    • Meditation and sleep app that may help with stress and anxiety
  • Calm
    • Available free for all clinicians with NPI numbers.
  • UK Healthcare SOAR (Supporting One Another to Rise) multidisciplinary team to help cope with PTSD, loss and assault. Call 859-323-SOAR.
  • UK HR - REST Program 
    • UK HealthCare Psychiatry developed a program called REST – Reaching out to Employees with Stress reduction and behavioral health Treatment. REST provides UK HealthCare faculty and staff a range of stress reduction, coping skills and behavioral resources. Call 859-323-6201 for more. 
  • Fitness Blender
    • Free exercise website recommended by Mayo Clinic wellness coach Dan Abraham from the Healthy Living Center.
