On May 19, the UK College of Medicine will host its first-ever Faculty Impact and Recognition Event (FIRE). Nearly 275 faculty will be recognized during the event at the UK Art Museum in the Singletary Center. It will highlight the achievements and impact of our faculty, recognized among peers across the UK College of Medicine.
In addition to celebrating excellence, this event is intentionally designed to bring faculty together across departments and disciplines, helping to break down silos and foster greater connection around our shared work and mission. Recognitions may reflect excellence in areas such as leadership, service, education, scholarship and research, and mentorship.
For this year's event, the award period is May 2025 - May 2026.
