Join the UK College of Medicine Department of Behavioral Science Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council and former White Coats for Black Lives (WCBL) fellows as they share information about the fellowship. The goal of this award is to enhance the understanding of health disparities and healthcare inequities experienced by the Black population, and attendees will learn more about finding a mentor, developing a project, and the application process.

The purpose of the Students Participating as Ambassadors for Research in Kentucky (SPARK) Program is to train a diverse cohort of undergraduate students at the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds and communities to conduct impactful research to improve health disparities.

The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) chapter at the UK College of Medicine is hosting a virtual residency fair and invites all fourth-year medical students underrepresented in medicine and applying to residency to join and engage directly with UK's own residency programs. Join us on this memorable day and share in the excitement for our graduates. The College of Medicine will host the the 56th Graduation Processional on Saturday, May 11 at 11:00 am in the Concert Hall of the Singletary Center for the Arts located at 405 Rose Street. Tickets are not required for the ceremony. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a reception following the ceremony.
