Each 2018 participant in the NSF-funded REU program will give a ten minute presentation of the research they have participated in over the Summer. In order to keep the total time reasonable, only two questions will be taken after each talk. All members of the Department and anyone else interested are strongly encouraged to attend.

Blue Stallion Brewery has chosen the BGSO as their mission Monday non-profit, so all day Monday, June 25th 10% of their taproom sales will be donated to the BGSO! The UK College of Medicine Class of 2018 Senior Awards Ceremony will be held Friday, May 11, 2018, at the Grand Reserve Distillery Square. This is a special event for graduating medical students, their families and friends, as well as College of Medicine faculty and staff. Multiple awards will be presented in the following categories: Teaching Awards, Humanism Awards, Student Awards and Departmental Awards, Honor Cords, and Graduation Awards.
