UK HealthCare Team Attends Vanderbilt Course on Promoting Professionalism

A UK HealthCare team of nurses and physicians attended a Vanderbilt course on Promoting Professionalism in Nashville, TN on December 1 & 2. The course focused on equipping attendees with the skills necessary to address behaviors that undermine a culture of safety. The team learned how to identify and navigate the essential elements necessary to make a change: the right people, processes, and systems. Using tactics provided in this course, the team hopes to implement these tools within UK HealthCare to make health care kinder, safer, and more reliable.
