Leanna Brignola has had a very busy month! On GME Professional’s Day (August 15), she was nominated for two awards, the “Rising Star” and the “Distinguished Program Administrators” by GME leadership. Shortly after, she successfully passed her Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) certification! This is a professional credential awarded to individuals who demonstrate advanced knowledge and competency in the administration of residency and fellowship programs within GME. And finally, Leanna is getting married on September 21! Congratulations on all of these, Leanna!
Cody Bumgardner, PhD, has also been very busy! He has been invited by the CAP to be a panelist discussing “General AI Use in Non-billing Purposes” on September 23, 2025 at 2:00pm ET. Lastly, Dr. Bumgardner is a PI on a newly funded grant by the National Science Foundation titled “Democratizing AI Training and Access Statewide (Collaborative Research)”.
