The University of Kentucky College of Medicine proudly recognizes 41 medical students who were recently selected as members of Alpha Omega Alpha. This national medical honor society recognizes individuals who exemplify professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service in the field of medicine.
“We are proud of the students who have been selected for this national honor,” said Todd R. Cheever, MD, faculty councilor for the College of Medicine’s AOA chapter. “Their contributions are making a difference in the lives of patients across Kentucky.”
The list of honorees includes medical students from all four of our campuses: Bowling Green, Lexington, Northern Kentucky, and the Rural Physician Leadership Program in Morehead, Ky.
We congratulate these students on this well-deserved honor and look forward to the impact they will make as future physicians across Kentucky and beyond.
