Shar Ellixson

Shar began working at UK in the summer of 1983.  She is a native of Clay County.  Shar attended Clay County High School and college at Pineville School of Nursing and Lexington Community College.

Shar enjoys reading on her Kindle, watching UK basketball, and attending soccer games.  But, really enjoys a warm summer afternoon in the backyard with family.

Job responsibilities include comprehensive management of clinical research trials for the division, ensure compliance with multiple regulatory agencies, assist with recruitment of industry/pharmaceutical sponsors, and provide support to others assigned to assist with research activities
