UK provides strong training in conjunction with a team atmosphere. I saw the knowledge and confidence that the residents have in the OR, ED, and clinic, even at the PGY2 level taking jr call on busy hand/face trauma nights, and how they help teach each other. They are constantly challenged and work hard. I knew that this training would help shape me into a plastic surgeon that is equipped to approach anything that walks through my door in practice.
