Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
I left my interview at the University of Kentucky confident that it was an excellent program that would provide the professional and personal environment that would allow me to thrive. I was impressed by the surgical experience and clinical knowledge residents graduated with. The cordial spirit between residents and with attendings made me want to join their team.
What are your hobbies?
I love being outside, whether it be hiking, walking with a friend, pickleball, boat riding, or sitting on my porch. I also enjoy being active, including weightlifting, yoga, and triathlon training with my husband.
